Electricbluegaloo is a collection of resources for teachers who write, and writers who teach. It is made up of resources I have created such as lesson notes and plans, book reviews and commentry on current issues in children’s literature. You will also find useful links to blogs, ebooks, literary-related-educational and just-darn-fun websites that I have come across and wish to share.
It is also a space for me to air my opinions on all things reading, writing and educational.
Please check out my posts, use my teaching notes and above all, support our incredible wealth of Australian and international author talent.
Though I have been a long term advocate for quality children’s literature and have had associations with The Children’s Book Council of Australia and the NSW Writer’s Centre I am proud to say that the views expressed on this blog are mine alone, unless you leave a comment, in which case that will be your view and greatly appreciated.
These views have been formed by my experience as a teacher, mother, lifelong reader and sometimes children’s writer.
I have worked with awesome writers such as Oliver Phommavahn, Libby Gleeson and Melaina Faranda to create Children’s Literary Festivals across NSW.
Thanks for visiting and don’t forget to leave a comment.
